Kohler Andrae State Park is always the most popular choice for engagement sessions! It has so much to offer! There are woods, boardwalks, sand dunes, and of course, the beach! The most popular time to visit this location is in the summer, and this session was done in the middle of August! We had the most beautiful weather – it was sunny, warm, and a little windy, but that is always to be expected at Kohler Andrae as it is right on the lake!

Alyssa and Ben are two of the kindest individuals and you can tell just that by looking through these photos. When we arrived at the session, they told me they were a little nervous because they had never had their photos professionally taken before. I told them not to worry and I promised them a fun evening. By the end of our session, Alyssa had said “that was actually really fun!”. We spent the evening running through the water and the sand dunes, and it was such a fun night. I always try to remind my couples to envision the session as a date night (and me as your third wheel). It’s a whole hour we get to spend capturing some amazing photos of your love, and I promise to make you feel comfortable at all times and create a fun environment for the two of you to be yourselves! 🙂 

I absolutely loved my time with Ben & Alyssa and I can’t wait for May 2025 to document their wedding day!
