I thought I would use one of my blog posts to further introduce myself and share more about the ways in which I can serve you as your new photographer friend!

Currently, I call Central Wisconsin home and have lived here for the past 7 years! I attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where I met my husband and graduated with my degree in Health Science! Shortly after that, we moved to the Wausau area, and I truly could not imagine living anywhere else! I love Wisconsin and all four seasons, and believe it or not, winter is one of my favorite parts of the year!

I grew up constantly asking my parents if I could borrow their camera to practice taking photos of my friends and family, but finally dove into photography professionally in April of 2023! This is truly a DREAM career, and I really, really love what I do and the people I get to work with. Whether you’re one of my precious seniors or gorgeous wedding couples, I treasure our relationship and the memories I get to preserve for you. 

The CZP experience is not just about taking pictures — it’s about holding the gift of time. Photographs have a remarkable ability to not only capture moments but also preserve the emotions within them, and that’s not something I take lightly. I feel so lucky to be trusted with documenting such precious milestones. I promise to not only protect your memories, but to provide you with the best possible experience because I genuinely care about YOU!

Through genuine guidance, I will do my best to make you feel comfortable, confident, and celebrated and allow your true self to shine through your images! When you look back on your precious photographs, I want you to be reminded of the story it holds, the conversations that were shared, and what it FELT like.

When I’m not taking pictures I’m:

On a morning run, drinking an iced caramel latte, on a date with my husband at Culvers (I eat here more than I’d like to admit), or spending my days on Maiden Lake – aka the best place on earth!!! 

My biggest inspiration

 My sweet guardian angel daddio who left this earth in June of 2023. His passing really showed me how fragile life is and to not spend it doing anything that doesn’t align with your heart and values! He gave me the foundation to become the best possible version of myself every single day, and although he is longer here to answer my phone calls, give me fatherly advice, or physically support me in this journey of entrepreneurship, I know he is still right next to me every single day. He is a big part of who I am. Gosh do I miss him!!

My favorite quote 

“Those that can see the invisible can do the impossible” – A quote my dad instilled in my brain as a kid to encourage my siblings and I to chase our dreams and see beyond any limitation. If you want something that seems so far out of your realm, go and get it and never give up! You are capable of more than your mind tells you you are!

Favorite part of a wedding day is: 

Post ceremony hugs!! Witnessing your parents, grandparents, and bridal party swarm you after you have just officially become married is truly something SO magical! It brings me to tears every time!! 

My favorite activity 

Running – Yes, Running!! Middle school Cassidy would be SO shocked to hear that one of her favorite things to do today is run! I ran a half marathon in 2024 and hope to one day run a full!!

What I value most:

Slow weekends and precious time with my family. Truly there is no better feeling than waking up on a Saturday morning with no plans and a clear schedule! Usually, I choose to spend this time with my mom, sisters, and husband!
